When Laura Rossellini suddenly decided to leave for Rome, taking her children with her, she must have been convinced that she would never return to Portugal, a country she had left behind her for ever, “a dead country”.
However, after almost a year had passed, Laura returned to the house overlooking the bay and, in a relaxed holiday atmosphere, finds what remains of the family and, by chance, something unexpected…
